BY APPOINTMENT IN ADVANCE
We run an appointment system. We currently offer same day appointments for more urgent problems and pre-bookable appointments for routine matters.  We do ask people with minor illnesses - for example sore throats and colds to see their Pharmacist for advice rather than their GP.

 Although you register with one of the partners by name, you can, by choice, see any of us, provided that there is an appointment available. In the event of the doctors list being full or if he/she is on holiday or study leave, you will be offered an appointment with one of the other partners.

On booking your appointment you may be asked to give a few details. Please do not be offended by this, it will help us to help you, eg, the receptionist may feel that you may require longer than the ten minutes allotted to each appointment. If your request is of a personal or confidential nature, the receptionist can, at your request, take your call or speak with you in a private office.

SAME DAY ATTENTION BY APPOINTMENT (956 1005)
If you require same day attention FOR AN URGENT PROBLEM rather than arranging an appointment in advance, please contact the surgery between 8.30am and 11.00am. The telephone line is clear between these times for this purpose. Reports, return and routine appointments should be requested after 11:00am and before 6.00pm.

Patients requesting same day attention will be offered an appointment and are requested not to be late as there are only a limited number of these slots. As the doctor is also covering urgent home visits in the afternoon, delays sometimes occur. We ask for your patience and will inform you of these delays as they arise. If you wish to speak to a Doctor please phone between 0930 and 1030 or ask for a convenient time to phone

SATURDAY MORNING APPOINTMENTS

Now available for routine matters and may be pre-booked. Urgent problems and emergencies continue to be dealt with by the Out-of-Hours Servcie.  The surgery is closed for all other matters, so please don't arrive expecting to see a Nurse, collect a prescription or arrange an appointment. There is a security guard who will only admit those with a pre-booked appointment.
